Tomato Navarra

Precision farming for large-fruited tomatoes

The «Navarra» tomato by «Unique Seeds» is tailored for professional growers aiming at the premium segment of the fresh vegetable market. Being an indeterminate variety, it requires a well-organized trellis system and diligent pruning to focus the plant's energy on fruit development. With a maturity window of up to 90 days, it allows producers to capture the early season market with high-quality, eye-catching produce.

Field Application and Strategic Advantages

• Greenhouse Performance: Optimal for tunnel and greenhouse environments where the indeterminate growth habit can be managed for maximum yield per square meter.
• Market Value: Fruits weighing over 200 grams with a distinct heart shape serve as a prime selling point for local farmers' markets and specialty grocery outlets looking for visually appealing varieties.
• Visual Appeal: The unique blend of orange and pink skin pigments differentiates this variety from generic red tomatoes, making it a powerful branding tool for your vegetable assortment.

For successful production, «Navarra» requires a balanced nutrition program. Because of the large fruit size, the demand for calcium and potassium is elevated, especially during the fruit-filling stage to prevent blossom-end rot and maintain shelf firmness. Proper fertigation via drip irrigation is recommended to stabilize moisture levels. Growers often choose «Navarra» for short-cycle production where quality and presentation are prioritized over extreme durability, ensuring a quick turnaround from the greenhouse to the end consumer.
