Naddnіpryanskyi 1 — medium-early determinate tomato variety, developed as part of the breeding work of the Institute of Irrigation Agriculture of NAAN, specializing in creating high-quality Kherson tomatoes. This variety is cultivated in the Kherson region, where special attention is paid to the quality and taste characteristics of the fruits. The vegetation period from planting to first harvest is 105-110 days, allowing for early harvests.
The plant is low-growing and determinate, making it convenient for mechanized harvesting, especially combine harvesting. Fruits have an egg-shaped form, weighing 60-75 grams, bright red color without green spot near the stem. Tomatoes are meaty, dense, with a smooth surface, ensuring their attractive appearance and good transportability. The variety is resistant to major tomato diseases, contributing to stable yields.
Due to its excellent taste, dense flesh with small seed chambers and thick walls, Naddnіpryanskyi 1 is ideal for both fresh consumption and processing. This variety is widely used for making tomato juice, pastes, sauces, ketchups, as well as for canning and pickling. With proper care, especially fertilization and watering, yield can double, making it profitable for cultivation in both industrial and private farms.
