Tomato Nadbuhan'skyi

A Reliable Choice for Open Ground and Greenhouse Cultivation

The 'Nadbuzhanskyi' tomato, developed by the Cherkasy Institute of Agro-Industrial Production of the NAAS, is a testament to stable Ukrainian breeding. Designed for farmers who prioritize consistent performance, this variety serves as a dependable crop that adapts well to regional climatic fluctuations.

Agronomic Profile

Falling into the mid-season category with a maturity period of 100–120 days, 'Nadbuzhanskyi' develops compact bushes that are easy to manage and harvest. The fruits, weighing 60–80 grams, feature a classic round shape. Depending on the conditions, the fruit color ranges from vibrant red to a delicate pink, offering an appealing look for both home kitchens and local markets.

Strengths and Considerations

• Versatility: Its firm skin and uniform size make these tomatoes perfect for whole-fruit canning as well as fresh salads.
• Cost-Effectiveness: As a non-hybrid, this variety allows growers to harvest their own seeds, offering significant long-term savings compared to F1 seeds.
• Cultivation nuances: While resilient, the variety requires standard prophylactic care against fungal diseases during rainy periods and appreciates balanced potassium fertilization to enhance flavor profiles.

This variety is ideal for small-to-medium scale growers looking for a balance between low-maintenance cultivation and consistent, marketable fruit quality.
