Tomato MASLENKIN

Breeding Excellence from Dachnaya Akademiya

The «Maslenkin» tomato is the product of extensive breeding work led by Yuri Dmitrievich Tarasov under the «Dachnaya Akademiya» brand. This variety was developed to meet the rigorous demands of professional greenhouse vegetable growing, where consistency and high yield potential are paramount. It represents a specialized segment of orange-fruited tomatoes, designed for growers who prioritize both visual appeal and robust productivity.

Agronomic Profile and Growing Conditions

As an indeterminate variety, «Maslenkin» requires careful pruning and structural support to manage its vigorous growth cycle. With a ripening period of 120–130 days, it is categorized as a mid-to-late variety. When cultivated under optimal greenhouse conditions, this variety demonstrates impressive performance, with yield potential reaching 70–100 tons per hectare, making it a reliable choice for commercial agricultural enterprises.

Fruit Characteristics

• Weight: 80–100 grams, a standard size that is highly favored for both fresh market packaging and whole-fruit canning.
• Appearance: The fruit features a uniform, perfectly round shape and a vibrant orange hue, signaling high carotenoid content.
• Quality: The firm skin and flesh density allow for excellent transportability, ensuring that the tomatoes reach the final consumer without damage.

«Maslenkin» reflects the core philosophy of Yuri Tarasov’s breeding program: combining industrial-scale productivity with high-quality, attractive produce. Its reputation is built on stable performance and marketability, making it a staple for farmers seeking to diversify their crop with premium orange-colored tomatoes that maintain their integrity throughout the supply chain.
