Margosha

Tomato Margosh — an early-maturing indeterminate cocktail-type hybrid, intended for cultivation in protected ground and open field. From emergence of seedlings to the first harvest, it takes 95-100 days. The plant has medium height with shortened internodes and compact form, allowing efficient use of planting area. The first flower forms above the 7-8th leaf, subsequent ones — every two leaves. Flowers are simple, loose, containing 8-10 fruits weighing 35-50 grams.

Margosh fruits have round shape with a small "nose", smooth and firm bright-red skin. They are 2-3-chambered, distinguished by increased content of dry matter and sugars, giving them rich flavor and aroma. Due to their firm skin, tomatoes maintain freshness and appearance for a long time, making them ideal for whole-fruit canning, drying, and fresh consumption. High fruit density also ensures their resistance to damage during transport and storage.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, verticillium wilt, and fusarium, as well as tolerance to late blight. This ensures healthy plants even under unstable weather and high humidity conditions. Recommended planting density is 4 plants per square meter, pruned to 1-2 stems. Yield reaches up to 22 kg per square meter, making Margosh an excellent choice for both hobby and commercial cultivation.
