Description
The fruits of the tomato "Loved of the Kuban" have round or round-heart-shaped forms, characterized by dense flesh and weights ranging from 110 to 260 grams depending on growing conditions. Their color varies from raspberry to red ripeness. The fruits contain high levels of dry matter (7.2-7.5%), sugars (3.5-3.7%), moderate acidity (0.41-0.43%), and significant vitamin C content (20-22 mg%). They are resistant to cracking and over-ripening, ensuring high marketability — up to 97% of marketable fruits.
The variety is distinguished by high yield — from 306 to 632 centners per hectare, stress resistance, and stable fruit set under various climatic conditions. The vegetation period is approximately 107-115 days from germination to the beginning of ripening. "Loved of the Kuban" is versatile in use: its fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, juice production, and processing into tomato products. Due to its flavor qualities and market characteristics, the variety is popular among both home gardeners and commercial growers.
