The tomato variety "Award" is a medium-ripening, determinate variety developed by Russian breeding, jointly by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing (FGNUI), LLC "Agrofirm Poisk", and Kuban State Agrarian University named after I.T. Trubilin. The plants are medium-height, 58–66 cm tall, with standard dark green leaves and simple inflorescences. The fruits are pear-shaped or oval with a pointed tip, smooth and medium-firm, weighing 52–90 g, with 2–3 seed chambers and a solid red color when ripe. The vegetative period is 107–110 days, with fruits ripening uniformly and exhibiting high transportability. The "Award" variety is primarily intended for whole-fruit canning and processing into tomato products such as ketchup and tomato paste. The fruits contain 6.2–6.5% dry matter, 2.95–3.20% total sugar, and acidity of 0.39–0.40%. The yield of marketable fruits reaches 81–96%, indicating high efficiency of the variety. However, under sudden changes in weather conditions, fruits may be prone to cracking on the plant. The variety is distinguished by high marketability and disease resistance, making it attractive for cultivation in open ground. Due to its characteristics, "Award" is suitable for fresh market sales, salad use, and processing. This tomato combines good flavor qualities with technological properties, ensuring its broad application in culinary and food industries.
