LEVCHIK

The tomato variety Levchik is a medium-ripening indeterminate variety with a period from germination to fruiting of about 110-119 days. The plant has unlimited growth, reaches a height of about 1.8 meters, and requires mandatory staking and formation into a single stem with removal of all suckers. The first flower cluster is formed above the ninth leaf, and subsequent ones occur every three leaves. It is recommended to grow in plastic unheated greenhouses, as well as in open ground, observing agronomic practices such as timely watering, weeding, loosening, and mineral fertilization. The fruits of tomato Levchik have a flat-round shape and are red when fully ripe, light green when unripe. Fruit mass varies from 180 to 270 grams, with individual specimens reaching up to 800 grams. The fruits are dense, attractive, and have excellent taste qualities, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as for preparing various dishes. To obtain a high yield, it is recommended to sow seeds for seedlings in early March, transplanting in the cotyledon stage and planting out in greenhouses at about 45 days old, usually in early-to-mid May. The planting scheme is 40x60 cm, and the yield reaches 8.8-9.5 kg per square meter. This approach ensures full development of plants and maximum fruiting of the Levchik variety.
