Tomato Sibiryak — a late-maturing indeterminate hybrid, intended for cultivation in plastic and glass-covered greenhouses. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is 130-140 days. The plant is tall, reaching up to 1.8 meters in height, requiring mandatory support and training to a single stem with regular removal of suckers and lower leaves. The first flower cluster forms above the 11th-12th leaf, subsequent clusters appear every 3-4 leaves. For seedlings, sowing is recommended at the end of February to early March, with transplanting at the stage of the first true leaf and supplemental lighting during the growing period. Transplanting into greenhouses occurs when plants are 50-55 days old, typically at the end of April, with mandatory support of plants a few days after planting.
Tomato Sibiryak fruits have a flat-round shape, smooth surface, and unique large size. Average fruit weight ranges from 400 to 600 grams, with a maximum weight of up to 2.8 kilograms. Tomatoes have a juicy texture, rich tomato flavor with dessert notes and aroma. The plant demonstrates high yield — under proper watering and feeding, 4-4.5 kilograms of fruit can be harvested per plant. Recommended planting scheme — 40x60 cm.
Hybrid Sibiryak exhibits resistance to major tomato diseases, such as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium, significantly simplifying care and increasing harvest stability. Due to its characteristics and qualities, this tomato is an excellent choice for greenhouse cultivation, providing large, flavorful, and aromatic fruits suitable for both fresh consumption and various culinary purposes.
