KILATO

KILATO is an early-maturing hybrid of large-fruited pink tomato, developed by Minami seeds selection. Plants of this variety have a strong stem and well-developed root system, ensuring their high resistance and productivity. Leaves are large with a broad blade, and internodes are of medium length. Despite heavy fruit load, there is no fruiting branch bending, which contributes to stable yield formation.

KILATO fruits have a correct flat-round shape with slight ribbing near the stem and weigh from 290 to 320 grams, corresponding to the BIF size. Their color is a rich magenta without green spot, and flesh is dense and sweet. Ripening occurs very early, making this hybrid one of the fastest-maturing among pink indeterminate tomatoes of this type, maturing approximately one week earlier than competitors.

The hybrid features high yield and transportability due to thick fruit walls. It is immune to TYLCV virus and fusarium, significantly reducing disease risks. KILATO is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouses. It is recommended to form fruit clusters, leaving no more than 4 fruits on the first two clusters, and 5-6 fruits on subsequent clusters, while avoiding overcrowding, taking into account plant vigor.
