Tomato Ivan-da-Marya — an early indeterminate variety with a maturity period of about 100 days. The plant reaches a height of up to 180 cm and is characterized by weak foliage with short dark-green leaves. For successful cultivation in greenhouses, pinching and shaping the plant into a single or two-stemmed bush are recommended. In August, the top of the plant should be cut off, leaving two leaves above the cluster, which promotes better fruit ripening. Planting is done at a density of 3 plants per square meter, and seedlings are transplanted into the ground at the beginning of May after the frost protection period. The tomato fruits are round with a slightly ribbed texture, medium size, and weight ranging from 150 to 250 grams. Unripe fruits are light green with a characteristic purple spot, while ripe fruits turn reddish-brown with a smooth, glossy skin. The flesh is dense, fleshy, and sweet, making this variety suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, and various processing methods. High yield can reach up to 15 kg per square meter with proper care and plant shaping. Ivan-da-Marya is suitable for cultivation in both plastic greenhouses and open ground, but requires protection from frost. Recommended for regions with moderate climates.
