Cherrybomb tomato is a medium-early indeterminate hybrid cherry tomato, intended for cultivation in protected soil. From germination to the beginning of ripening, it takes approximately 100-105 days. The plant has medium growth strength with shortened internodes; the first truss forms after the 7th leaf, and subsequent trusses form every 2-3 leaves. Each truss bears 16 to 22 round, two-chambered fruits weighing 20-25 grams, bright red in color. The fruits are distinguished by uniform shape and size, dense skin, and excellent taste qualities, making them ideal for fresh consumption and whole-fruit canning. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including gall nematodes, tomato mosaic virus, verticillium wilt, and fusarium wilt. Plants require pruning to 1-2 stems and staking, with a planting density of about 4 plants per square meter. Yield reaches 18-20 kg per square meter. The crop is sun-loving and heat-tolerant, allowing successful cultivation both in protected and open ground under plastic coverings. Cherrybomb tomato fruits have a bright tomato flavor with pronounced sweetness and a fresh aroma. They do not overgrow or drop off, and they retain well in field conditions, enabling long-term storage and transportation. Due to their dense skin, the tomatoes do not crack and maintain their market appearance for 20-30 days. This variety is excellent for salad preparation, canning, and processing, making it a popular choice among gardeners and hobby farmers.
