Tomato Butyrka is a medium-early indeterminate hybrid intended for cultivation in protected ground, including winter-spring and summer-autumn rotations. Plants of this variety are vigorous, robust, and highly leafy, ensuring good development and high productivity. Flowers are simple and compact, forming 3 to 5 fruits, which allows effective regulation of plant load and stable yields.
Tomato Butyrka fruits have a flat-round shape and bright red color when fully ripe. They are multi-chambered, dense, and fairly large — fruit weight varies from 126 to 260 grams depending on growing conditions. Immature fruits are light green without spots, facilitating determination of ripening stage. The tomato has excellent taste and high market yield, reaching 30-33 kg per square meter, with marketable product output up to 98-99%. Fruits exhibit high storability and transportability, making the variety attractive for commercial cultivation.
Butyrka variety exhibits comprehensive resistance to major tomato diseases, including mosaic virus, fusarium and verticillium wilts, cladosporiosis, and powdery mildew. This significantly reduces the risk of yield loss and reduces the need for intensive chemical protection. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Central region and is suitable for extended rotations in winter glasshouses with low-density crops, expanding its usability under various climatic conditions.
