BOTANIC — a medium-early indeterminate tomato hybrid that matures in 100-110 days from germination to fruiting. Plants are tall and strongly branched with an open habit, forming the first flower cluster above the 9th-10th leaf, and subsequent clusters every three leaves. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in plastic and winter greenhouses, where an optimal planting scheme of 40x60 cm or density of 2.4-2.6 plants per square meter is ensured. Sowing for seedlings is done in March, transplanting occurs at the stage of the first true leaf, and planting in greenhouses is carried out in early to mid-May, when seedlings reach 45 days of age. After planting, plants must be staked and trained into a single stem, with all suckers removed to promote better development.
The fruits of the BOTANIC tomato have an ideally round shape, smooth surface, and weigh between 100 to 120 grams. They are distinguished by an excellent harmonious taste due to the optimal balance of sugars and organic acids. These characteristics make this hybrid especially suitable for canning. The hybrid has high yield — up to 4 to 4.5 kilograms of fruit can be harvested from one plant.
BOTANIC is resistant to a range of diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium. Additionally, it is genetically resistant to cracking and blossom end rot, which significantly improves the quality and storage of the harvest. These traits make the hybrid a reliable choice for greenhouse cultivation, ensuring a stable and high-quality tomato harvest.
