Fruits have a flat-round shape, sometimes with shallow ribs near the base, and are distinguished by their unique swampy green color with a bronze or mustard tint, which remains even when fully ripe.

The fruit skin is thin, providing a pleasant texture but reducing shelf life, so tomatoes are recommended for fresh consumption.
