VELMORZHA

Tomato Velmorza is a medium-maturing determinate variety with a bushy growth habit, reaching a height of 60-80 cm. The plant develops well in open ground, under plastic covers, and in greenhouses, especially thriving in cool summers and under insufficient sunlight. For optimal fruit formation, it is recommended to grow the plant as a two-stem bush. The variety is characterized by resistance to fungal and viral diseases, ensuring a stable yield and good plant immunity.

The fruits of tomato Velmorza are large, meaty, heart-shaped, with 6-9 chambers inside. The weight of one tomato varies from 200-400 grams, with individual specimens reaching up to 500 grams. The fruit color ranges from light pink to dark red depending on growing conditions. The skin is smooth, thin, and practically invisible when consumed, while the flesh is highly sugary, meaty, and flavorful. The dry matter content in the fruits is 3-5%, making them ideal for salads, as well as for juice and tomato paste production.

The vegetative period of this variety is approximately 105-120 days until full ripening. Yield per plant reaches 3-5 kg, and up to 8 kg of quality fruits can be harvested per square meter. To increase fruit size, it is recommended to leave no more than 4-5 flowers on each branch. Due to its characteristics and taste qualities, tomato Velmorza is a classic salad variety suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.
