SUNNY BERRY

Tomato variety 'Sunny Berry' is a determinate plant with limited stem growth, which simplifies care and harvesting. Leaves are large, dark green, slightly lobed, and inflorescences are simple, forming 5-6 fruits. The first truss forms above the 5th-6th leaf, and subsequent trusses appear every 1-2 leaves, promoting even fruit ripening. Plant height reaches 130-150 cm, typical for medium-leafed determinate tomato varieties.

Fruits of this variety have an inverted egg-shaped or elongated-cylindrical form with smooth, firm skin. Immature fruits are light green or uniformly green, while ripe fruits develop a deep red color. Fruit mass varies from 45 to 100 grams, with 2-3 well-formed locules inside. Flavor qualities are good, and in some descriptions, they are rated as excellent, making this variety suitable for salad use, whole-fruit canning, processing into tomato products, and pickling.

The variety is characterized by high yield — from 232 to 500 centners per hectare, with a standard fruit output of up to 98%. It is resistant to fusarium, tomato mosaic virus, and alternaria, ensuring reliable cultivation under various conditions. Fruits withstand transportation well, which is important for commercial use. 'Sunny Berry' is suitable for cultivation both in open and protected ground, expanding its application potential.
