Tomato Amico

Field-Proven Ukrainian Genetics

Choosing 'Amiko' tomato seeds means working with material specifically adapted to local soil and climatic conditions by the experts at the Kyiv Experimental Station (IOB UAAS). For the grower, this variety offers a reliable and predictable production cycle, making it an excellent choice for operational planning.

Cultivation and Field Performance

• Manageability: The plant exhibits a balanced growth habit, which simplifies canopy management, pruning, and staking operations throughout the season.
• Efficiency and Density: The standard planting density allows for optimal space utilization. Proper spacing prevents excessive foliage density, improving air circulation and reducing the need for aggressive fungicide applications.
• Harvest Reliability: The variety produces uniform fruit, making grading easier. It is forgiving regarding harvest scheduling, maintaining marketability even if pick times shift slightly due to logistics or labor availability.

The original seed stock ensures high purity and predictable germination rates. This variety is ideal for those who prioritize stable profitability over the high-maintenance requirements of imported hybrids, providing a solid, workhorse performance for any operation.
