Description Olympia
Tomato OLYMPIA — a mid-season variety of foreign selection with a vegetation period of about 110-120 days. The plant has an indeterminate growth type and reaches a height of 120 cm in open ground and 160-180 cm in greenhouses. Successful cultivation requires staking and pinching. The variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases, good drought tolerance, and moderate cold resistance, allowing it to be grown both in greenhouses and in open ground. The fruits of tomato OLYMPIA are large, weighing from 150 to 350 grams, round-oval in shape with a rich pink skin and flesh. They are juicy, firm, and have a sweet, fresh flavor, making this variety one of the best dessert tomatoes. Due to their taste qualities, the fruits are suitable not only for fresh consumption but also for processing into juices and pastes. The high yield of the variety reaches up to 8.5 kg per plant. Cultivation conditions include sowing seedlings in March and transplanting into the ground in May. Tomato OLYMPIA is versatile in use and has good storability — fruits can be stored for up to two months at a temperature of +5 to +12 °C. This variety combines excellent taste qualities, high productivity, and resistance, making it an attractive choice for gardeners and farmers.
