Laura

Tomato Laura is a medium-early, high-yielding variety developed in 2019 through crossing Orange Banana and one of the representatives of the Lazy family. The plant is indeterminate, strong-growing, with intense foliage and a plant height of about 60-70 cm. Leaves are wrinkled and of normal type. The variety is characterized by a prolonged fruiting period and resistance to cracking even with excess moisture.

Tomato Laura fruits have elongated-pear shape with two chambers and are dark orange in color with a hint of ochre. Fruit weight varies from 70 to 130 grams. The flesh is dense and thick, yet juicy, with good flavor featuring slightly bitter-sweet notes. Fruits are well-suited for canning, fresh consumption in salads, and drying. They store and transport well.

Laura variety is recommended for cultivation in open ground, unheated polyethylene greenhouses, and under temporary polyethylene covers. It is suitable for garden plots, suburban, and farmsteads. The plant does not require pinching, which simplifies care and makes it easy to grow even for beginners.
