Tomato Fact

Reliability as the Primary Asset

The tomato variety "Fakt" by the Gavrish breeding company is a classic representative of professional selection, focused on achieving predictable results in both protected and open field conditions. Developed under the leadership of Sergey Fedorovich Gavrish, this variety has maintained its market position for years in the mid-season segment, remaining a favorite among growers for its high adaptability and consistent yield.

Agronomic Potential and Specifications

"Fakt" is classified as a mid-season crop, with a maturity period ranging from 100 to 120 days from germination. The main advantage of this variety lies not in oversized fruits, but in their uniformity and commercial appeal. The flat-round tomatoes, weighing 100–150 grams, are perfect for whole-fruit canning and fresh market sales, where a neat appearance and firm skin are highly valued.

Resistance to Pathogens

The key value of "Fakt" is its genetic resistance to a complex of the most dangerous nightshade diseases. The breeding formula includes protection against:

• Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV);
• Cladosporiosis (leaf mold);
• Fusarium wilt.

This "immune shield" significantly reduces the need for fungicide treatments, making the variety an excellent choice for farms practicing environmentally responsible agriculture. "Fakt" does not require complex cultivation techniques; it effectively utilizes nutrients and maintains productivity even under slight climatic fluctuations, which is backed by the long-standing reputation of the Gavrish selection firm in the seed market.
