Chimgan

Tomato Chimgan F1 is a medium-early indeterminate hybrid developed by Clause for cultivation in greenhouses of any type. The plant is tall, reaching up to 3 meters in height, forming 12 or more clusters with 4–6 large fruits each. The first cluster ripens on day 70–75 after transplanting seedlings. The hybrid is suitable for spring-summer and summer-autumn seasons, as well as for the first and second cropping cycles in protected ground, including glass and plastic greenhouses. The fruits of tomato Chimgan F1 have a flat-round shape with slight ribbing near the stem and a bright red skin. The average fruit weight is 250–300 grams; they are uniform in size, dense, fleshy with thick walls. Due to its dense internal structure, the tomatoes withstand long-distance transportation without losing their appearance and can be stored for a long time without deterioration of taste or commercial quality. Tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for processing into juices and pastes. The hybrid Chimgan F1 is characterized by high productivity and resistance to a number of common diseases, including fusarium wilt, verticillium, cladosporiosis, tomato mosaic virus, and yellow leaf curl virus. The plants are easy to cultivate, set fruit well even under stressful conditions, such as sudden temperature fluctuations. Thanks to these qualities, tomato Chimgan F1 is valued by farmers and recommended for marketing fresh produce.
