Description SY DAXTON
SY Daxton — a mid-early sunflower hybrid intended for cultivation using conventional technology. This linear-type hybrid is distinguished by high oil content, reaching 51-52%, and stable productivity under drought conditions, as well as in areas affected by various strains of ragweed (ambrosia) from A to F+. Due to its extensive nature, SY Daxton is suitable for cultivation in all soil-climatic zones of Ukraine, making it a universal choice for farmers.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including phomopsis, phomopsis-like diseases, gray and white mold, verticillium wilt, as well as root and stem lodging. These traits ensure stable yields and reduce the risk of losses under adverse weather conditions. Moreover, SY Daxton is characterized by rapid water release, which facilitates timely harvest and reduces drying costs.

The recommended planting rate depends on soil moisture: 45-50 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 55-60 thousand under adequate moisture. The hybrid’s yield potential reaches 50 centners per hectare (5 tons per hectare). Seeds are supplied in packages of 150,000 units, sufficient for sowing 2.2-2.5 hectares. To enhance seed protection, it is recommended to treat seeds with Lumissena® and Poncho®.
