SX 2314 is a high-yielding sunflower hybrid with a medium-late maturity and a vegetative period of about 110 days. It features a high yield potential up to 55 ц/ha and oil content of 55%. The plants have a low stature (125-135 cm) and medium flower head diameter (17-20 cm), ensuring ease of harvesting and high adaptability to various growing conditions.
The SX 2314 hybrid exhibits genetic resistance to herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl (sulfonylurea group, SU), allowing the application of these products at a dosage up to 70 г/ha for effective control of broadleaf weeds without damage to the crop. For controlling grassy weeds, the recommended herbicides in the cultivation technology are Blade, Oreol Maxi, Haruma, and Dola. This protection system ensures plant development without weed competition and does not impose restrictions on crop rotation.
The hybrid is resistant to the latest strains of parasitic plant — dodder (stage G+), making it a reliable choice for all regions of Ukraine. SX 2314 consistently performs well on all soil types, exhibits high disease resistance, and adapts well to environmental conditions.
