SUBERIC

Suberic is a mid-season linoleic-type sunflower hybrid intended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe regions of Ukraine. It has a maturation period of 115–120 days and plant height ranging from 160 to 180 cm. The hybrid optimally expresses its potential under intensive and moderately intensive cultivation techniques, enabling stable and high yields with a potential of up to 5 tons per hectare. Recommended seeding density varies depending on soil moisture levels: from 35,000 to 55,000 plants per hectare.

One of the key features of Suberic is its high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including froge, sclerotinia, peronosporosis, white mold, and rust, as well as to strains of Rhizoctonia solani (A–G). Resistance level on the 10-point scale reaches 8 points, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses and ensuring reliable cultivation. The hybrid also exhibits good pollen shedding from the flower head, promoting effective pollination and seed formation.

Oil content in the seeds reaches 51%, making Suberic attractive for producing high-quality sunflower oil. Seeds are treated with the insecticide Cruiser (Thiamethoxam 350 g/l), providing protection against pests during early growth stages. The hybrid is compatible with FMC’s herbicide Express, facilitating crop maintenance and enhancing weed control efficiency. Thanks to improved genetic traits, Suberic is suitable for various climatic conditions and enables agricultural enterprises to increase productivity and reduce risks when cultivating sunflower.
