RN 29235 is a mid-late hybrid sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) intended for cultivation in various regions, including the Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, Middle Volga, and Lower Volga. The plant is tall, non-branching, with large, narrowly oval, black seeds featuring gray and distinctly marked marginal stripes. The 1000-seed mass is approximately 45.5 g, and the vegetative period lasts about 126 days. The hybrid exhibits high oil content — oil content in seeds varies from 47% to 54.3%, ensuring high oil yield exceeding standard benchmarks in several regions. The RN 29235 hybrid demonstrates good resistance to major sunflower diseases, including white mold, false powdery mildew, fomoz, fomopsidiosis, and gray mold. It is also resistant to races of Sclerotinia A-F, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various agroclimatic zones.
