SR 4106 ZHI

SR 4106 ZHI is an early-maturing extensive sunflower hybrid of Serbian selection intended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Forest-Steppe, Steppe, and Polesie. It is characterized by a short vegetative period of 90 to 110 days, which allows for harvesting within a shortened timeframe. Plant height reaches 170-180 cm, while the head diameter is 20-22 cm, contributing to high seed oil content at 50-52%.

The hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to a wide range of diseases, including Fusarium, white root and head rot, black stem rot, Phoma, as well as new races of downy mildew. Additionally, SR 4106 ZHI has enhanced resistance to pests and is adapted for use with herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, such as Grassstar Flash, ensuring effective protection of crops from weeds. Drought resistance and the ability to grow on impoverished soils make this hybrid especially valuable for zones with limited resources.

SR 4106 ZHI is suitable for intensive and extensive cultivation technologies, demonstrating a stable yield potential up to 51 centners per hectare.
