RGT VOLLCANO CLP sunflower is a high-oleic hybrid with high yield potential and resistance to new races of downy mildew. This hybrid belongs to the Clearfield Plus protection system, providing effective herbicide protection and enabling successful cultivation under various climatic and soil conditions. Due to its high plasticity, RGT VOLLCANO CLP adapts well to different agronomic practices and growing conditions.

The hybrid is characterized by an early-maturing group with a vegetative period ranging from 97 to 120 days depending on the region and conditions. Plants reach average or high heights of about 160 cm, do not branch, have green leaves and yellow disc flowers. The 1000-seed mass is approximately 58.1 g. Seed yield in cultivation regions averages 23.7 centners per hectare, with maximum values reaching 39.3 centners per hectare according to the breeder. Oil content in seeds varies up to 52%, and oil content in seeds ranges from 48.45% to 54%.

Special attention is paid to the high oleic acid content — from 88% to 92% — making the oil from this hybrid particularly valuable for the food industry. The hybrid shows low susceptibility to downy mildew and dry rot, further enhancing its resistance and reliability in production. The optimal planting density is 60-65 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to achieving maximum productivity and high-quality harvest indicators.
