RGT CASTELLANO CLP — mid-early sunflower hybrid developed using Clearfield® Plus technology, providing effective weed control and enhanced stress tolerance. This hybrid is characterized by high drought resistance and adaptability, making it particularly suitable for cultivation in the Southern Steppe of Ukraine and other regions with variable moisture levels. Recommended plant density varies depending on soil moisture levels, allowing for optimized yield under different climatic conditions.

The hybrid features high oil content — up to 49% — which distinguishes it favorably among other varieties. It exhibits comprehensive tolerance to major sunflower diseases, including fusarium and sclerotinia, as well as resistance to various races of downy mildew (groups A–F). These traits ensure stable and reliable yields, reducing risks of losses due to diseases and adverse conditions.
