Ramo

The Ramo sunflower hybrid is the result of breeding work conducted by the institute in the city of Novosad and was registered in the Ukrainian Hybrid Registry in 2013. This hybrid is intended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe regions, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions. The average vegetation period ranges from 107 to 112 days, allowing for effective planning of agronomic activities and harvest collection.

Ramo is distinguished by high genetic yield, reaching 45 centners per hectare, ensuring a stable and high output of product. The plant reaches a height of about 175 cm, and its root system develops to a depth of one to two meters, contributing to drought resistance and improved nutrition. The hybrid exhibits good resistance to major sunflower diseases, such as Phomopsis, Phomosis, gray mold, and sunflower moth infestation, reducing the risk of crop losses.

For weed control, the use of soil-applied herbicides is recommended, which allows for effective suppression of unwanted vegetation and improved growing conditions for sunflower. The primary purpose of Ramo hybrid seeds is oil production, making it attractive for the oilseed industry. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, the Ramo hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and high-yielding sunflower.
