Raptor OR

Raptor (NS X 7258) is a mid-early sunflower hybrid with a vegetation period of 103-106 days, developed by Serbian breeding and recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe, central, and southern steppe regions. Plants reach an average height of 150-170 cm, exhibit high growth intensity in early development stages, medium stem thickness, and moderately deep root systems. Seeds are black, medium-sized, with a 1000-seed weight of 60-75 grams and good germination.

The hybrid has high yield potential, which can exceed 5.5 tons per hectare (over 55 centners per hectare) under ideal conditions. Seed oil content is 47-49%, and protein content is within 23-25%. Due to its short vegetation period, Raptor allows effective soil preparation for subsequent winter crops and optimal timing for their sowing.

One of the key advantages of the hybrid is its high resistance to various diseases and pests. Raptor possesses genetic resistance to 6-7 races of downy mildew (downy mildew), as well as to diseases such as powdery mildew, frogeye leaf spot, macrophoma, white mold, and rust. The hybrid is adapted to various agro-ecological conditions, making it a reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality yield.
