Due to its tolerance to acetochlor herbicides such as Harness, it is suitable for cultivation in challenging agroclimatic conditions, particularly in forest-steppe and steppe zones, including southern and eastern regions of Ukraine. LG5557HO has an intensive growth type with high activity during the early vegetative stage, which contributes to good plant development and yield formation. The average maturity period is approximately 115 days, allowing its use in mid-early and early crop rotations. Plants reach a height of about 140 cm, and the head diameter is approximately 15.8 cm, ensuring high productivity and ease of harvest. The potential yield of sunflower LG5557HO reaches 55 centners per hectare under optimal growing conditions. The recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 45,000 plants per hectare under low moisture conditions and up to 55,000 plants under more favorable conditions. The average 1000-seed mass is 71 grams, indicating high quality and market attractiveness of the hybrid.
