Sunflower L 18 01 S

French genetics for superior oil content

The «L 18 01 C» hybrid from the French breeding center Laboulet Semences is a solution for farmers aiming for premium quality. In the sunflower market, with an oil content of 50–55%, this hybrid occupies a niche of highly productive crops capable of demonstrating stability even under challenging phytosanitary conditions.

A robust phytosanitary shield

The key competitive advantage of this model lies in its comprehensive protection against pathogens. Laboulet Semences' genetics focus on resilience against the most aggressive diseases affecting the root system and vegetative mass:

• A strong barrier against root white rot;
• Effective resistance to phomopsis and phoma;
• Minimization of risks associated with various types of rot.

This makes «L 18 01 C» an optimal choice for farms employing intensive cultivation technologies, where preventing yield losses due to fungal infections during the ripening phase is a top priority.

Is this hybrid right for your fields?

The variety is aimed at producers seeking to maximize profitability through a high oil yield per hectare. If your strategy involves producing a crop with high fat content, «L 18 01 C» provides the necessary genetic potential. Unlike less demanding but lower-yielding alternatives, this crop requires adherence to crop rotation and basic agricultural standards to fully unleash its potential. The investment in Laboulet Semences material is rewarded with excellent test weight and a consistently high oil percentage, even when facing fluctuating weather conditions.
