Sunflower L 1014 is a variety developed by PIONEER OVERSEAS CORPORATION and included in the register of approved varieties for all regions of Russia. This is a medium-height plant without branching, with large, heart-shaped, glossy green leaves and strong pubescence on the stem in the upper part. Flowers are yellow: ligulate, oval, tubular, with absence or weak anthocyanic pigmentation of the style. The head is large, half-turned downward, with a convex seed side. Seeds are medium-sized, broadly oval, medium-thick, with primary black coloration and weakly expressed stripes. Variety L 1014 is characterized by high productivity and resistance to various climatic conditions, making it suitable for cultivation on large areas. It ensures a stable yield and high oil content, which is especially important for industrial production. Due to its genetic characteristics, this sunflower is optimally adapted to cultivation conditions in various regions, facilitating efficient use of agronomic technologies. For protection of L 1014 sunflower crops, it is recommended to use systemic herbicides based on isopropylamine salt of glyphosate.
