Sunflower KWS DANTES is a mid-early hybrid intended for cultivation using conventional technology in various soil-climate zones. It exhibits high resistance to the complex of sunflower downy mildew (A-G), ensuring reliable protection against this pest. Plants reach a height of 155-160 cm, have a convex head with a diameter of approximately 20 cm, oriented halfway downward. The hybrid demonstrates high drought tolerance, especially during flowering, enabling stable yields even under insufficient water conditions. KWS DANTES possesses high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including fusarium, fusariosis, gray and white mold, and verticillium. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to basal and apical branching, root and stem lodging, as well as seed shattering, facilitating harvest and improving yield quality. Rapid seed moisture release promotes timely harvesting and reduces losses during storage. Oil content in the seeds is 51-52%, making this hybrid attractive for oilseed industry. KWS DANTES' yield potential exceeds 5 tons per hectare, confirming its high productivity. Seeds are supplied in packages of 150,000 units, sufficient for sowing on an area of 2.2-2.5 hectares. Seed treatment is performed with Lumissena and Poncho, providing additional protection for plants during early development. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, the hybrid KWS DANTES is an optimal choice for farmers seeking high and stable sunflower yields under various growing conditions.
