Sunflower AS 35112

AS 35112 is an early sunflower hybrid developed by Aspria Seeds and intended for cultivation in Ukraine, primarily in forest-steppe and steppe zones. The hybrid's vegetation period is approximately 101 days, allowing for harvest within a short timeframe. The plants are tall, reaching about 160 cm in height, which contributes to good development and yield formation. The hybrid belongs to the Clearfield technology, which ensures high growth energy during early stages and enables effective weed control.

AS 35112 features high oil content — around 51% — making it attractive for oil production. The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 52 centners per hectare under optimal growing conditions. The seeds have a 1000-seed mass of about 72 grams. The hybrid is drought-resistant, cold-tolerant, and exhibits high resistance to lodging and several diseases, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions.

The recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels: 70-75 thousand plants per hectare in areas with adequate moisture and 60-70 thousand in drier regions.
