Sunflower Krassotka

Stable Yields in Short Timelines

French selection from Euralis Semences is synonymous with technical efficiency, and the "Krasotka" sunflower hybrid is a prime example. This hybrid fits perfectly into farming operations practicing intensive agriculture, where obtaining commercial grain with high oil content before critical weather events is paramount.

Field Efficiency

The key advantage of this hybrid is its 100-110 day vegetation period. It is a strategic choice for farmers who need to clear fields for winter crops or simply minimize risks associated with late-summer droughts. The plant height of 150-160 cm ensures ease of mechanical harvesting, preventing lodging and reducing losses during combine operations.

Production Economics and Plant Health

Investments in "Krasotka" pay off thanks to its high oil content (50-55%), making the product highly sought after by crushing plants that pay premiums for raw material quality. Genetic resistance to major pathogens significantly reduces the burden on crop protection programs:

• Downy mildew (Peronospora): A reliable barrier against systemic root and stem infections.
• Phomopsis: Resistance keeps the leaf canopy healthy until full maturity.
• Phoma: Protects against premature stem senescence, which is critical for head filling.

We recommend this hybrid for farms seeking a balance between early maturity and productivity potential. Its early harvest capability allows managers to optimize the harvest schedule, reducing logistical bottlenecks and grain drying costs.
