DescriptionAvangard
Ground herbicide Avangard is intended for the protection of sugar beet, corn, soy, peas, sunflower, rapeseed, potato, tomato, cabbage, and watermelon crops from annual grassy and certain annual broad-leaved weeds. The active ingredient is metolachlor (960 g/l), belonging to the chemical class of chloroacetamides. The product is released as an emulsion concentrate packed in 20-liter cans.
The mechanism of action of Avangard involves blocking the division of weed cells, leading to their death at an early stage of development. The protective effect lasts from five to six weeks; the product can be applied both before and after sowing, but necessarily before crop emergence.
Storage conditions: shelf life of two years in closed packaging at a temperature of +5 °C – +35 °C. The product provides medium toxicity for target crops, making it a safe and effective solution for agricultural work.
