FR 81055 is a new high-oleic sunflower hybrid characterized by high oil content and stable yield. The hybrid's vegetative period ranges from 105 to 112 days, classifying it as a mid-early variety. It features high oil content ranging from 50 to 53%, with an elevated level of oleic acid, making it particularly valuable for producing high-quality vegetable oil. The hybrid is released in two seed fractions—standard and extra—with a mass of 1000 seeds ranging from 53 to 73 grams, packaged in bags of 150 thousand seeds.

The FR 81055 hybrid is distinguished by its high resistance to various diseases and stress conditions. It is drought-tolerant, exhibits good plasticity, and is adapted to different climatic conditions. The hybrid is resistant to new strains of shattering, downy mildew, black leg, Peronospora, Phoma, rust, gray mold, and white rot. It is also resistant to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, which facilitates weed control in crops.

To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to maintain optimal planting density, which varies depending on soil moisture: from 45 to 65 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid features uniform seedlings, good growth rates at early development stages, and resistance to lodging. The potential yield is 50-57 centners per hectare, while the actual yield in 2023 reached 36-42 centners depending on growing conditions. Due to its characteristics, FR 81055 is a promising choice for cultivation in various regions with different climatic conditions.
