Sunflower F 71508 is an inbred line included in the State Register of the Russian Federation for all regions of cultivation. The plant is of medium height, non-branching, with a semi-downward-facing medium-sized head and a straight stem. Leaves vary from small to medium, dark green in color with bubble texture ranging from weak to medium and serration from fine to medium. The leaf apex may be from broadly triangular to round, with large ear-like lobes and absence or weak expression of lateral wing-like segments. Stem hair in the upper part is medium. Flowering occurs at medium time, ligulate flowers are narrowly egg-shaped and yellow, tubular flowers are orange with anthocyanic coloration of the stigma. Seed is small, broadly egg-shaped, medium thickness, main color black with clearly expressed gray marginal stripes.
