Sunflower DONSKOY 354

DONSKOY 354 is a sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) hybrid with early and mid-late vegetative types, featuring intensive growth and high yield. The plant is of medium height without branching, with heart-shaped green leaves. Flowers are yellow, with ligulate and tubular structures. Seeds are narrowly oval-shaped, black with gray stripes; 1000-seed mass is approximately 42.3 g. The hybrid's vegetative period is about 125 days. It exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, such as verticillium wilt, rust, alternaria, and sunflower budworm, ensuring yield stability across various climatic conditions. Seed oil content reaches approximately 48-49%, enabling the production of high-quality oil with about 48.1% fat content. Potential seed yield can reach up to 32 c/ha, with maximum yields in certain regions exceeding 32 c/ha. DONSKOY 354 is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the North Caucasus, Lower Volga, Ural, and West Siberia. It is particularly effective in regions such as the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Orenburg region. Due to its characteristics, the hybrid is suitable for intensive farming, providing high oil collection and stable yields even under complex agro-climatic conditions.
