Chornomor — an early maturing table beet variety. Small-sized leaf rosette. Roots of the early Chornomor variety are round, slightly flat, dark red in color, free of ringed patterns, smooth, weighing 150-250 g. Flesh is tender and juicy. The root of the early table beet variety Chornomor is 2/3 buried in soil, central root is thin and unbranched, easily pulled out from soil. Roots are uniformly shaped. The value of the Chornomor variety — high yield (50-70 t/ha) and commercial root output, good storability and excellent taste. Recommended to sow in open ground 6-7 days after the start of field work, to prevent seeds and seedlings from being affected by low temperatures (2-3 0С), which cause bolting. For sowing, use precision seeders. Sow single row at 45 cm spacing, in bands 40+40+60 cm, in wide strips 6-8 cm with row spacing 45 cm. Estimated seed rate for table beets is 8-12 kg/ha.
