Soybean variety Goverla is one of the regional varieties developed in the Carpathians and registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2009. This variety features an intermediate growth type and is adapted to diverse soil-climatic conditions, making it versatile for cultivation in various regions. The height of the lower pod attachment is 11.8–13 cm, and the 1000-grain weight reaches 170 g, indicating good seed development and quality.
Goverla is characterized by high yield potential, reaching 3.3 t/ha, and possesses high resistance to major diseases, as well as lodging and shattering, which is especially important for mechanized harvesting. The variety has a medium-oil usage direction with oil content in the seed ranging from 22.1% to 23.5%, and protein content varies between 37–39.8%, ensuring high nutritional value and demand in grain production.
Thanks to its agroecological properties and resistance to adverse factors, the Goverla variety is well-suited for intensive agriculture. Its high adaptability and stable yield performance make this variety an attractive choice for farmers seeking high-quality and economically beneficial soybean yields.
