Zevs

Sorghum variety ZEUS is a three-line hybrid developed by EURALIS SEMENCES and registered since 2014. This variety is intended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem and North Caucasus regions, has a medium maturation period, and is primarily used for agricultural purposes. ZEUS is not patented, allowing free use in agricultural production.

This variety is characterized by high resistance to adverse factors such as drought, diseases, and stress conditions. It demonstrates stable yield and good resistance to lodging and shattering, ensuring reliability in cultivation across various climatic zones, including forest-steppe and steppe regions. The recommended seeding rate varies depending on moisture levels and is approximately 180-240 thousand seeds per hectare.

ZEUS has an optimal plant height of about 120 cm and high starch content in the grain, making it valuable for agricultural use. Due to its adaptability and resistance to fusarium, this sorghum variety is a profitable choice for farmers aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality harvest under variable climatic conditions.
