Sunflower NS H 8003 is a high-yielding mid-early hybrid intended for cultivation in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine. The vegetation period is 105-110 days, classifying it as a mid-early variety. Plants reach an average height of 165-180 cm depending on soil moisture, exhibit high leafiness, and have a convex-shaped head with a diameter of 22-25 cm, which is semi-tilted downward and fully formed.
The hybrid demonstrates high adaptability to adverse weather conditions, particularly exhibiting very high drought resistance. Additionally, NS H 8003 is resistant to major sunflower diseases such as phomopsis, phomosis, gray mold, powdery mildew, and rust, as well as to sunflower moth and thistle (6 strains A-F). This ensures stable and high yields even under challenging agroclimatic conditions.
NS H 8003 is intended for oil production. The seeds are black, elongated, weigh 75-80 g per 1000 seeds, and have an oil content of 49-50%. Seed purity is 21-22%. The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 55 centners per hectare, making it an attractive choice for farmers focused on high productivity and quality oilseed raw material. The seed material is packaged in multi-layer high-density paper bags designed for one planting unit (150 thousand seeds), ensuring convenient storage and sowing.
