NS Falcon is a mid-season sunflower hybrid from the Serbian selection NS Seme, intended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones. The vegetation period is 110–115 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 160–170 cm, and the recommended planting density before harvest is 50–60 thousand plants per hectare, depending on the region. Seeds are packed in bags of 150 thousand units, sufficient for sowing on an area of 2.2–2.5 hectares, and undergo fungicide treatment for protection against diseases.
The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential, exceeding 50 centners per hectare, and oil content in seeds reaching 48–50%, making it attractive for oilseed industry. Protein content varies within 16–18%, and the oil content is 23–25%, indicating good seed quality and ease of processing. NS Falcon is resistant to a wide spectrum of diseases, including false powdery mildew, gray mold, froge, downy mildew, rust, as well as to 7 races of the fungus and some new forms of this parasite, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss.
The hybrid is produced by the company NERTUS AGRO, with NS Seme from Serbia as the originator. The cultivation technology is traditional, allowing the hybrid to be used in various agronomic systems. Seeds are available for order with delivery or self-pickup from Odessa, ensuring convenient purchase. NS Falcon combines high productivity, disease resistance, and adaptability, making it a profitable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality sunflower harvest.
