KWS AMORES CL sunflower is a high-quality mid-season hybrid of German selection developed by KWS. It belongs to the linoleic hybrid type and is intended for cultivation using Clearfield technology, which provides effective weed control and increases yield. The hybrid is adapted for cultivation in all soil-climatic zones of Ukraine and can be successfully imported for use in other regions.
KWS AMORES CL sunflower plants reach a height of 160-180 cm, and the flower head diameter is 17-21 cm. The seeds have a high oil content — up to 50-52% — making this hybrid attractive for the oil industry. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is its resistance to strains of nematodes A-F, which significantly reduces yield losses from parasitic plants.
In addition, KWS AMORES CL exhibits high tolerance to major sunflower diseases such as fusarium, fusariosis, false powdery mildew, as well as white and gray mold. The plants demonstrate excellent drought and heat tolerance, ensuring stable growth and high productivity even under adverse climatic conditions. These qualities are achieved through continuous breeding efforts aimed at improving the hybrid's resistance and adaptability.
