Smuglyanka

Soybean variety Smuglyanka is a medium-early variety recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Polесье, forest-steppe, and steppe. Plants reach a height of 90 to 130 cm, have a semi-erect growth type, and an indeterminate development type. The lower pods are located 10-15 cm above the ground, and the main stem's pubescence has a reddish-brown tint. Leaves are compound with lanceolate-egg-shaped lateral leaflets, flowers are white. Seeds are medium-sized, elongated, yellow with a yellow hilum. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and shattering, as well as good seed uniformity — up to 95%. The 1000-seed mass varies from 149 to 190 g depending on growing conditions. Protein content in the seeds ranges from 37.2% to 42%, and fat content reaches 22.5%. The yield potential of the variety is approximately 4.0 t/ha, with yields reaching 3.19 t/ha in certain regions, such as the Labinsk GSC in the Krasnodar region. The recommended planting density at harvest time is 500-550 thousand plants per hectare. Smuglyanka is well adapted to regions with precipitation levels of 450-550 mm, making it suitable for cultivation in the North Caucasus region and other areas with similar climates. Thanks to its characteristics, the variety ensures a stable and high yield, making it attractive to agricultural producers focused on obtaining high-quality raw material with high protein and fat content.
