Soy 'Baty a' is an early-maturing, high-yielding variety intended for cultivation in the Far East regions of Russia, including Primorsky and Khabarovsk Krai. The vegetation period is about 113 days, allowing for stable yields with an average productivity of 23.5 centners per hectare and up to 32.2 centners per hectare. The variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests, ensuring reliable cultivation and reducing the need for intensive plant protection.
Plants of the 'Baty a' variety have a semi-drooping bush form with large leaves and weak branching. A distinctive feature is the rusty pubescence on stems and pods, violet flowers, and light yellow matte seed coat with an elongated hilum. Each pod contains two to four seeds. The variety demonstrates high resistance to lodging and shattering, which helps maintain crop quality.
Protein content in seeds reaches 39.9%, and fat content is 22.6%, making the variety versatile for various purposes. 'Baty a' is suitable for livestock feed, as well as for oil and meal production. Due to rapid growth during germination and tillering, the variety effectively suppresses weed vegetation, reducing protection costs and increasing economic efficiency of cultivation.
