Medium-ripening variety, developed at the Far Eastern Research Institute of Horticulture from crossing the varieties Primorsky Champion and Goliath. Author N.A. Bolonyaeva-Favorskaya. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the Far Eastern region in 1959.
Medium-statured, semi-spreading bush. Growing shoots are thin, straight, green, without hairs.
Leaf five-lobed, medium-sized, green, with fine wrinkles. The central lobe is long and triangular. Teeth are small and sharp. The leaf base indentation is of medium depth and open. Petiole is medium-sized, green, leaf scar shape is rounded.
Flowers are medium-sized, cup-shaped, pinkish, sepals light green and not fused. Inflorescences are short, fairly dense, hanging, with short pedicels.
Berries are medium-sized (0.6-0.7 g), with medium seed count, sweet-sour taste (4.0 points), versatile use. Receptacle is medium-sized. Chemical composition: dry matter — 16.3%, total sugars — 6.6%, titratable acidity — 3.0%, ascorbic acid — 143.1 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, self-fertile, susceptible to fungal diseases, yield 3.0-4.0 kg/plant.
Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness, stable yield year after year.
Disadvantages of the variety: weak resistance to powdery mildew, anthracnose, and septoria.
